Welcome, everyone! I’m Angela, and this is an argument writing course for middle school writers.
I know you must have a lot of questions.
Check out the answers to those that are most frequently asked, below. Read them carefully, and if you need to know more, please reach out to your teacher. He or she will help you. If that isn’t possible, your teacher will reach out to me directly. I will not be able to interact with students in this space.
Many lessons will include an invitation to read and comprehend rich mentor texts.
Daily mini-lessons, led by me–Angela. Each lesson will be just a few minutes long, and it will prepare you to do a bit of writing on your own.
Each day, you will be challenged to do a bit of writing on your own.
Answers to your anticipated questions may be found below. If you have others, please direct them to your teacher. He or she will contact me directly if I can be of service. This will protect lines of communication and prevent all of us from becoming overwhelmed.
